New Lions Club “Lions Club of Fremont Sagarmatha” Formed
Lions club of ‘Fremont Sagarmatha’ club has been formed in the city of Fremont, California with motto of ” WE SERVE” on March 13, 2014. Lions club of Berkeley Annapurna has initiated and sponsored this new club and this new club will be remain as branch club until it reaches 20 new club members and will be independent new lions club afterward. It is announced that the “Charter Night” will be held with respect and dignity and recognized new club and its officers in the district and community.
The formation program was held in Casa Azteca Restaurant and program was held by lion Harihar Dahal (also president of Sunny Sagarmatha Samaj).
Lions club Berkeley Annapurna Charter President Rajen Thapa motivated new club and members on the occasion. Lions District 4C-3 governor Dr. Dennis Grotrien (Denny) had promised to help with all necessary supports needed for new club.
Berkeley Annapurna President Tilak Sunar had described the importance of club function, projects and further clarify relationship between local lion club and Lions club International and also how our community may get benefitted from LCIF.

Lions 4c-3 District Governor welcomed all new members in new club presenting his “Governor” pin to all new officers. All attendance introduces and share their thoughts during the programs. Berkeley Annapurna’s past presidents Lion Ram Chandra Dhakal, Lion Chinkaji Shrestha, advisor Govind Shahi, Nanc president Uttam Karki had congratulate all the new officers.
Lions club of Berkeley Annapurna established in San Francisco bay with motto of ‘We serve’ in 2006. It is one of largest Nepalese community Lions club in USA which has been actively involved in many social activities in the bay area and Nepal as well.
