Lions Club of Berkeley Annapurna and its partner Clubs Lions Clubs Fremont Sagarmatha, Berkeley Makalu, San Leandro Manakamana, San Francisco Buddha, Berkeley Laligurans, Albany Focus Financing, Sunnyvale Everest, Kasthamandap Santa Rosa and Sacramento Nepalese Lion Clubs jointly  announce their Annual Blood Drive Program on Saturday, June 9th 2018 in American Red Cross Northern California Blood Center in Oakland.

All the participating clubs like to invite their  Club officers, members, friends and families to mark their calendars to make sure that there will be massive participation in the program.

The Blood Drive was first initiated by Lions Club of Berkeley Annapurna 7 years ago and has been its annual program since then. The club has collaborated with Blood Donors of America and other lions Clubs to make the program more participatory and meaningful in the past. Since we have now ten Lions clubs in Northern California we would like to encourage all the clubs to participate said Lion Manilbabu Shrestha, past president of Berkeley Annapurna.

Club President Kaushal Rana said, our club’s coordinator Bindu Sapkota has taken responsible to host the with the collaboration of other lions clubs. She requested all the Nepalese organizations of Bay area  and Nepalese brothers and sisters to participate in this great project that directly saves lives. This is a great opportunity to serve humanity to save the lives of people who are in a dire need of our blood said Newly Charter President of Sacramento Nepalese Lions Club Lion Durga Dahal.

We invite all to participate in this great project of serving humanity that will give you a feeling of uncommon satisfaction and pleasure, said newly formed Santa Rosa Kasthamandap’s charter President Narayan Somname in his recent visit to one of the Lions Event in Berkeley.  RN and social worker Lion Shardha Dahal of Berkeley Makalu lions Club excited to participate first time as a host of Blood drive since she has been participating every year as a donor. She further said she is always available if Lions Clubs need any kind of help from my side .
